Day 4 – Baby Carmen and the arrival of the C-5 Galaxy

The Oshkosh Airventure show just got busier and busier towards the end of the week with more people and more aircraft arrivals so I didn’t have much of a chance to post but here are some pictures from day four.

For the plane gurus out there, this is a recently restored North American A-36A Invader. It’s one of only three known existing A-36s in the world, and one of only two flying. It carries the paint scheme of the 86th Fighter-Bomber Group based in Italy, which fought in Operation Torch, and is nicknamed Baby Carmen.
